Students are screened annually to monitor their growth, general well-being and to rule out common chronic diseases. Studies have shown that annual medical screening can catch emotional & physical problems early. Presence of any medical problem is communicated to the parents via a detailed report & parents are advised to take appropriate steps to rectify them. Screenings are conducted by a medical doctor who does a general physical examination along with vital growth markers.
Students of the schools that have subscribed to the School Health Program are given the benefit of visiting any of our Clinic5 medical centers for unlimited number of free of cost consultation throughout the year. Each student is given a special membership card that enables them to receive this service.
Students are given health education based on our health activity based curriculum. The activities are taught to the teachers by a health professional to build their capacity. The teachers then conduct these activities in their respective classes. Health activities are also designed in consultation with the school according to specific needs expressed by the school.
We establish First Aid Rooms & medical infirmaries on the premises of schools. Students suffering from any illness or injury will be provided First Aid and basic care facilities here. The medical infirmary has essential equipment and medicines to address an emergency situation or medical ailment & the optional provision of a nurse is also offered.
